I am currently a senior at the University of Akron and I will be graduating this spring with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry and Arabic.
Experience
I have been an academic tutor at the University of Akron for the past year tutoring: physics, chemistry, biology, organic chemistry, and Arabic. I have a lot of experience with the science courses tested on the MCAT as I received a 31 composite score. I have a 3.7+ cumulative undergraduate GPA. As a 22 year old student I have had my fair share of difficulty learning new course material. I am committed to a passionate teaching style that is efficient in helping my students learn new course material. At the University of Akron I have taken courses including: Principles of Biology, Principles of Chemistry, Physics for Life Sciences, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Arabic, Neuroscience in Heath and Disease, and Techniques in Neurobiology. I can also fluently speak, write, and read the Arabic language. One of my most proud accomplishment was getting published on an abstract presentation at the American Society for Biomechanics for my research on mesenchymal stem cells.

Hobbies
I enjoy running with friends after school along with playing ping pong, racquetball, basketball, and tennis. I have had a life long interest in geography and meteorology. I hope to pursue a career in the field of medicine. Above all, I enjoy the satisfaction that I get when students tell me that I have helped them understand the new course material!
